NWJPB Scotland Trip Featured in Local Press

Northwest Junior Pipe Band has been featured in an excellent article in SeattleRefined, a local lifestyle website highlighting all things Seattle and PNW.

Prior to our monumental trip to the World Pipe Band Championships we were contacted by Susan Wyatt, a local piper who also happens to be a reporter. She asked if she could, upon our return, document our trip to Scotland in an article. We said “of course!” During the trip we kept in touch with Susan and then once we were home and recovered from jet lag, sent her some photos from our adventures. Band director Kevin Auld also sat down for an interview with Susan to flesh-out the details of the journey. Huge thanks to Susan and SeattleRefined for spotlighting our junior band and for helping promote our upcoming open house and signup night on Sept 20.
