BC Pipers' Annual Gathering Success!
The 2024 BCPA Annual Gathering (“the Indoor”) is the first big contest of the year for bands in BC, Washington and Oregon. Northwest Junior Pipe Band competed in the Grade 4 division against five other bands in the grade, including adult and juvenile pipe bands. The event is held Easter weekend and takes over an entire high school building in the Delta BC, near Vancouver.
NWJPB placed 1st in both MSR and Medley events, taking 1st overall, Best Drum Corps and the aggregate trophy for Grade 4. Way to go, team!

The Annual Gathering
First held in 1932, the BCPA Annual Gathering is a grand kick-off to the piping and pipe band competitive season in the Pacific Northwest. Drawing players from BC, WA, OR and across north America, it is the milestone event with competitions available for beginners all the way up to gold medal level players.
The entire event is expertly run by the BC Pipers Association corps of volunteers, with solo competitions starting at 9am and band events running late into the evening. As always, huge thanks to the BCPA for their work bringing this event together.
BCPA Annual Gathering Solo Results:
Several members of the band competed in solo events and many brought home prizes, including aggregate trophies.
